Happy birthday to you...
Today marks xinmin secondary 60 anniversary birthday....xinmin secondary have gane far...we used to be rank 100 plus position years ago but now we stand tall as an automous school holding up the 17 position among other school....isn't that great...I was involved in todays parade...I had to reached school at 12 as we,the GOH need to take our M16 rifle at PA...after taking the rifle went back to school and take a rest before we go through the rehearsal one last time before the real thing..around 6pm the Guest of Honour,Mr Tharman Shamugaratnam arrived...His arrival was welcome by applause by the sudents,teachers and guest...When he arrived, we were inside computer lab 1 getting ready...before we were told to get ready at our march in position,we did a cheer so that we will have confidence....when the minister were going around the school,we get out of the lab and get ready...just as we were ready,we were called to march in...when we were marching in,my heart can't stop beating....i was so panic...hmm..although I was in a parade before, i still panic....i tried to cool down and go with the flow....when the minister reached the rostrum,we did Hormat Senjata as to pay respect...it was then followed by singing of the school song then the cake cutting...after that we did the march pass...its over...i feel as if the parade was only 5 minutes...when we berhenti,some of us cried because of happiness...our 10 trainings was really worth it..the CIs rate us 9.5 out of 10...hmm...we then went back to PA to send the rifle...on our way to PA,we sang songs...We also sang songs on the way back to school...when we reached school..its time for us to eat..YEAH!!finally get to eat...the tofu was very nice...i couldn't resist it...i ate tofu non stop until i had to gather...hrr...spoil my fun...haha..we took some photos at rostrum...had a fun day....the parade were also excellent...we then change then i met Hafiz outside the school coz he want to fetch me..in the bus,we had a chat with Eng Choon about my POP last year..it realy bring back memories..alot of wonderful meories...me and Hafiz dropped at Hougang mall and took 325 home..haiz...very tired....anyway to all GOH...We have Won the War...We have Won the war..sah...
